    Team Development

At its simplest, a team is a group of people with a shared goal. If teamwork is to develop, a team must have goals that only can be achieved through the cooperation and combined efforts of all of its members. CBA works with executive teams, management teams, and work teams to clarify team goals, identify team strengths and weaknesses, and focus on actions to improve overall team functioning .

CBA's team development process focuses on the practical techniques that result in teamwork without reducing productivity or quality of work. Team development activities include role clarification, setting team performance standards, providing team feedback, improving communication, increasing initiative and cooperation, fostering creativity, and planning and implementing effective team meetings.

As a part of our team development process, a special one-day outside team building event can be added that is both fun and a learning experience for team members. The day consists of a series of team challenges that require creative problem solving skills, cooperation, and open communication. Companies often use the day as retreat that ends with an awards dinner at the end of the day.

When we work with a team our objective is to help the team build team cohesiveness as they accomplish the company's goals. The measure of our success is the performance of the team and the return on investment recovered by acting on our advice.
